Shakira graduated with expanded functions from Fortis College. She has developed skills in chairside assistance, treatment planning & working with insurance. Since joining the dental field, Shakira has been able to work with multiple doctors & assist in training the staff.
Outside of work, Shakira enjoys cooking, reading & spending time with family.
Diana – Treatment Coordinator
Diana is a Treatment Coordinator who works closely with patients to help them understand their treatment options & find solutions that fit their individual needs. She focuses on creating a clear & comfortable experience throughout the treatment process. Outside of the office, Diana enjoys cooking, trying new recipes, listening to music & dancing.
Kimberly – Treatment Coordinator
Kimberly is known for her warm personality & friendly smile. She enjoys creating a comfortable & welcoming experience for everyone. Her naturally positive demeanor & love for bringing a smile to those around her enhances the care & comfort of our patients.
When she is not at work, she enjoys spending quality time with family & friends, watching movies & taking part in family activities.

Maricsa – Orthodontic Assistant
Maricsa has been a dental assistant for many years now at Austell Dental Excellence. She graduated from Dental Assistant of Atlanta & has been working with braces to help patients achieve a healthy & beautiful smile. In her free time, she enjoys riding horses at her farm & loves to spend time with her loved ones.
Hygienists
LaRanda, RDH, BS, FADHA – Hygienist
LaRanda was raised in Kentucky & moved to Georgia in 2003. She graduated from the University of Kentucky with an AAS in Dental Hygiene in 1993. She continued her education earning a Bachelor of Science from Brescia University in 2002 & completed the prestigious Fellowship program with the American Dental Hygienists’ Association in 2024. She holds certification for local anesthesia as well as the use of laser technology.
LaRanda has many years of experience working in general, periodontal & cosmetic practices & offers a broad understanding of dentistry including dental sleep medicine & orthodontics. She is a lifelong learner & enjoys staying current with all the latest technology & dental related topics.
In her spare time you can find her on the tennis or pickleball court, traveling with her family, or snuggling with her sweet 5-pound Maltipoo, Daisy.
Mariana – Hygienist Assistant
Mariana graduated from Atlanta Academy of Dental Assisting. She enjoys helping people & making them feel confident about their smiles. In her free time, she enjoys being with her family, riding horses with her dad & having fun.
Natalia – Hygienist Assistant
Natalia graduated from Dental Staff School. She loves helping people feel good about their smiles, & being a part of that journey is something she truly enjoys. In her free time, she loves listening to music & spending time with her dog.

Randy – Expanded Duties Dental Assistant
With several years of hands-on experience in the dental field, Randy has developed strong skills in chairside assisting, patient care & office efficiency. He is highly skilled in preparing treatment rooms, assisting with a wide range of dental procedures, sterilizing instruments & ensuring patient comfort throughout their visit. Over the years, he has worked closely with dentists, hygienists & administrative teams to provide exceptional care & create a welcoming environment for patients of all ages. His passion for dentistry comes from a genuine desire to help others feel confident in their smiles while receiving compassionate & professional care.
Jasmine – Dental Assistant
Jasmine received her certificate from the Dental Assistant School of Atlanta. She was inspired to go into the dental field because of encouragement from her cousins. She enjoys going to concerts, listening to music & watching her favorite shows.
Janee – Dental Assistant
Janee was born & raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She graduated from Fortis College, where she found her love for taking care of patients & helping them with their needs.
Outside of the office, Janee enjoys cooking & mini vacations.
